Over four lakh job-seekers connected, thousands trained, and a generation empowered -- technology, transparency, and training redefine Haryana's employment landscape
-
Over the past 11 years, Haryana has shown what proactive employment generation and good governance can achieve through technology, transparency, and human-centric policy.
The state's employment ecosystem is anchored by 65 digitally-connected employment exchanges, creating a unified, tech-driven network linking employers with job-seekers. These centres bridge the gap between education and industry by facilitating placements in both public and private sectors.
Up to July 31, 2025, 4,04,935 job-seekers had registered themselves on the state's official employment portal, hrex.gov.in. This platform facilitates job-matching, placement drives, online counselling, and access to skill development programmes.
Launched on November 1, 2016, the Saksham Yuva Yojana remains one of Haryana's flagship welfare schemes, offering financial support and work experience to educated unemployed youth. Initially designed for the graduates in Science, Engineering, Commerce, and Arts, the scheme was extended in August 2019 to include 10+2 pass youth, expanding its reach into semi-urban and rural areas.
