Perfect Dissonances The Erarta Museum, in conjunction with the Dance Open ballet festival, is staging an exhibition by the controversial Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf entitled “Harmony of Dissonances. Mania of Perfection”. Erwin Olaf knows exactly what he wants to say to the viewer with each frame. And to bring this idea to fruition he first chooses a model and then transforms her, revealing his secret artistic concept and laying bare every nerve, every vibration of the soul. The display features photographs which are the result of the creative union between the master and a unique model — the Netherlands National Ballet. The focus of attention is the dancer’s body, brought by supernatural exertions and high emotional tension to both perfection and devastation. Until 21 May.
