Ocean - The voice that makes games talk

Before he became a familiar voice in India’s esports scene, Ocean was a student who could solve equations faster than he could reload in-game. Known online as Gamingpro Ocean, his journey didn’t begin on a streaming platform. It began in the margins of his classroom notebook, where game maps quietly replaced algebra.

“I was academically sound,” he says. “But there came a point where my brain wanted something else.”

That “something else” was video games. His path into the industry wasn’t flashy. It started with YouTube tutorials—simple game breakdowns with some personal insights. The casting? A lucky twist. In 2019, he filled in for a friend at a local tournament.

“It was a positive accident,” he recalls. “I didn’t plan to be a caster, but once I got on the mic, I realized how much I loved telling the story behind the gameplay.”

From that moment, he wasn’t just narrating match highlights—he was building narratives, weaving emotion into action. “Casters are story writers,” he says. “The players make the moves, but we connect those moments.”
