India's AI turning point From pilots to real power

The experiment phase is over. For a few years, AI lived safely inside pilot projects. Innovation teams built chatbots. Marketing tested content tools. Data science groups created predictive models that looked great in presentations. Proofs of concept were everywhere. But things changed when AI moved closer to real decisions.

Once AI started influencing credit approvals, supply chain plans, fraud checks, and healthcare workflows, problems surfaced. Models that worked in clean demo environments struggled with messy enterprise data. Accuracy dropped. Reliability became a concern. Leaders began asking harder questions.

Are we really ready to run our business on this?

That question marks a shift.

image"The real shift is no longer about the quantity of models being built, but about the integration of AI into core operational workflows across industries.AI adoption is as much a trust and usability challenge as it is a technological one.India's next AI chapter will be defined by how effectively intelligence is translated into trust, access, and measurable outcomes for everyday users."
