Michael is out to keep Jarrad's spot

- BY CHRIS BEESLEY

JARRAD BRANTHWAITE has not kicked a ball all season, but Michael Keane is determined to give manager David Moyes a selection headache.

Everton defender Branthwaite - sidelined since August with a hamstring injury - won't be fit enough to return against struggling West Ham, ensuring that Keane is set to continue at centre-back alongside James Tarkowski.

The £25million purchase from Burnley in 2017 was out of contract over the summer but penned a new one-year deal.
