‘United must NEVER let Arsenal land a massive title asset like Rashford’
MANCHESTER UNITED have been told they would be stupid to sell Marcus Rashford to Arsenal - even though they really need to cash-in on the forward.
The England international is now resigned to reporting for pre-season training at United after his loan hosts Barcelona opted against signing him for £26million.
The Red Devils remain keen to offload Rashford’s £325,000-a-week wages, as that salary no longer fits within the wage structure at Old Trafford.
But after loaning him to the La Liga champions last season they will only entertain offers this summer that would move the forward on permanently.
Arsenal have been mentioned as a possible destination for the Three Lions star — who scored in the 4-2 World Cup victory over Croatia in midweek.
