Market rallies sharply on expectations of US-Iran talks

DOMESTIC equity market rallied sharply on Wednesday, supported by expectations of renewed negotiations between Tran and the US which helped ease concerns around potential oil supply disruptions and triggered a decline in Brent crude oil prices.
At the close, the benchmark BSE Sensex advanced 1,263.67 points (+1.64%) to settle at 78,111.24, while the NSE Nifty gained 388.65 points (+1.63%) to end at 24,231.30.
