PM-VBRY boost for 15 lakh jobs

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch a nationwide employment outreach programme on June 19 to mark the successful implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PM-VBRY), with the main event being held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

During the programme, the Prime Minister will transfer incentives worth nearly Rs.2,400 crore through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), a move expected to support additional employment opportunities for over 15 lakh people across the country.
