Fiat has gone back to the future by drawing on its past producing cheap transport for small businesses, with a new three-wheeled vehicle pitched as “a tool for economic empowerment”.
After World War II, when Italy was in ruins, Fiat’s small cars and transporters helped put the country back on its feet.
The new TRIS, unveiled locally this week, will be the first of a range of micromobility solutions that automotive giant Stellantis intends introducing to the country and selected African markets.
