Die 83-jarige Jackie Barnard van Stilbaai het Dinsdag 1 Julie die ondervinding van 'n leeftyd gehad toe sy die wêreld se langste glykabel (zipline), van 3,2 km baasgeraak het.
Haar eerste glykabel was in die Hemel-En-Aarde vallei by Hermanus en in 2024 het sy ook die langste glykabel in die wêreld oor 'n oseaan, die een by Mosselbaai gedoen, maar hierdie was volgens haar die heel beste van almal.
Die K3 Zipline is net buite Caledon in die Wes-Kaap en die beginpunt hoog op in die berg, kan net met 'n viertrekvoertuig bereik word, 7 km teen die berg op.
