England captain declares: We're a physical team... let's use it at World Cup

- JOHN CROSS IN DALLAS

NFL-DAFT Harry Kane has told his England team-mates to sack any prospect of World Cup regrets and get physical tonight.

And boss Thomas Tuchel has made it clear to his players it's time to be brave and create "something special" as Croatia loom first in Group L.

Skipper Kane, 32, is primed for his sixth major tournament and said: "We're here to go far, that's our aim, that's our goal. The only regrets you can have coming away from tournaments is that you didn't go for it." England crashed out in the quarter-finals in Qatar to France four years ago but go into this tourney with Tuchel at the helm.

Outlining his message as captain before they go out onto the pitch, Kane - who missed a late penalty against Les Bleus in 2022 said: "The messaging will be to go with freedom.

"We have an extremely strong team, we have a physical team.
