Great Martyrdom Day of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji observed with devotion in Ahmedgarh

The great Martyrdom Day of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the fifth Sikh Guru, crown of martyrs and embodiment of peace and patience, was observed with deep reverence and religious fervour today, Thursday, 18 June 2026, at Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Guru Tegh Bahadur Marg, Ahmedgarh.

The entire event was held under the supervision of Chief Sewadar Baghel Singh Ubhi and the entire Singh Sabha Gurdwara Management Committee. The Sri Akhand Path Sahib, which commenced on Tuesday, 16 June at 7:30 AM, culminated with the Bhog today from 7:30 to 8:00 AM. Following the Bhog, Head Granthi Bhai Ravinder Singh Ji performed the Ardas and recited the Hukamnama. The Diwan commenced with soulful Kirtan of the Shabad ‘‘Tera Kia Meetha Laagai’’ by Hazoori Ragi Bhai Onkar Singh Ji. From 9:00 to 10:00 AM, school children emotionally moved the Sangat by presenting poems, Kavishri, and Gurbani verses dedicated to Guru Arjan Dev Ji's martyrdom. From 10:00 to 11:00 AM, Hazoori Kathavachak Bhai Varinder Singh Ji, through his Katha, explained how Guru Sahib attained martyrdom while sitting on a hot plate, upholding the princip
