The draw for the Bayview Youth Cup was held last night (16 June) at Mondale High School in Mitchells Plain and the 64 teams now know their opponents for the round-robin stages of the tournament, which gets underway on Sunday 29 June at the Strandfontein Sports Field.

Last night’s event also marked the club’s 20th anniversary and the 10th edition of the u-16 Youth Cup. The 64 teams for the Bayview Youth Cup will arrive from Friday 27 June and will be accommodated in the Blue Waters Resort in Strandfontein. The tournament has been instrumental in unearthing some of the country’s top-flight players.
