New homes to provide nest spots for birds

Special bricks will be installed on homes in Leyland to support the declining species of bird.

Homes at Centurion Village, being built by David Wilson Homes, will have a total of 65 swift bricks which are hollow bricks in the exterior wall of homes designed to provide a nest for the birds.
