A WOMAN enjoying a leisurely stroll along the Menai Strait has captured the remarkable moment she encountered a dolphin in the water.

The mammal put in an appearance on a fast-flowing stretch water where dolphins are only occasionally seen.
Bottle-nosed dolphins are fairly common around UK waters and can be spotted throughout the year, though sightings are more frequent during summer.
