AIRBUS EXPECTS AIRCRAFT deliveries to its Indian customers, including IndiGo and the Air India Group, to average nearly two aircraft a week over the next decade, Jurgen Westermeier, President and Managing Director - India and South Asia, Airbus, said on Thursday.
Westermeier said aircraft deliveries to Indian airlines are expected to peak at around 150 planes a year in the coming years. Airbus delivered around 70 aircraft to Indian carriers in 2025.
He added that Airbus currently has about 1,250 aircraft on order from Indian airlines.
