Quizzers' fundraising is a question of life and death for vital service

QUIZ lovers from Sleaford, Boston and up the East Coast have made thousands of pounds to help transport blood and other medical supplies across Lincolnshire.
Some of the money was raised at small local quizzes held at Emily’s Bakehouse in Millstream Square, Sleaford town centre.
The rest was raised at larger quizzes at “The Beonna” former All Saints’ Church in Bennington where quizzers gather from as far afield as Boston, Horncastle and Skegness.
The quizzes are the brainchild of Sleaford’s very own master-fundraiser Kay Bonnell, the co-owner of Emily’s Bakehouse who, in her spare time, is also the race-director of the Boston Marathon.
The Quizmaster is her husband and showman James Bonnell known for his high-spirited banter.
Kay said: “Our last quiz for the summer at Emily’s Bakehouse was a couple of weeks ago.
