Car sales and production have roared back to life, hitting new records. This indicates that 2023 might be commercially great for the industry despite the lingering recession fears, which is why all major automakers are lining up to launch their latest and greatest offerings in the Indian market.

01 LAMBORGHINI URUS S
PRICE: starting price close to ₹3.5 crore
LAMBORGHINI recently revealed the Urus S as the new entry-level version of its SUV offering with the track-focused Performante serving as the range-topping variant. Although it replaces the old base model, the Urus S is just as potent as the Performante. It is powered by the same twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 in Performante which produces 666hp and 850Nm of torque. Lamborghini claims the Urus S can do the 0-100kmph sprint in 3.5 seconds, which is a tenth of a second quicker than the outgoing model.
However, unlike the track-focused Performante variant, the Urus S focuses on offering greater comfort and customisation options. Instead of Performante’s fixed coil springs that offer sporty handling, the Urus S retains the predecessor’s adaptive air suspension to offer the perfect balance between sporty and comfortable.
02 2023 LEXUS RX
PRICE: 1.1 crore (approximately)
JAPANESE luxury carmaker Lexus lifted the veil off the 5th-generation RX SUV in June last year. The new Lexus RX arrives with a completely redesigned interior and exterior, thanks to which it looks much sharper and sportier than the outgoing model.
