Make your summer travel more enjoyable - and more sweaty! This body weight workout is fit to fly.
Maybe you're heading off to a remote beach. Or perhaps you're stuck in a cramped hotel room. No matter where you are, working out on the go can be doable, effective and dare we say... fun?
"When I'm travelling, I usually don't want to go to the gym for an hour every day," says personal trainer Nick Tumminello. "And I hear the same thing from my clients." To stay fit away from home, Tumminello prescribes quick bodyweight workouts to get a lot done in a short amount of time. This strategy helps travellers maintain consistency, sure, but it also helps them enjoy their time on the road even more: A single bout of exercise can immediately boost mood and energy, while reducing anxiety and tiredness, according to research.
