At the forefront of India's electric mobility revolution, OPG Mobility—formerly known as Okaya EV—is making bold strides in the EV industry. With a renewed vision and a strong focus on innovation, the company has unveiled its new identity and an exciting lineup of two-wheelers and three-wheelers at the Auto Expo. In this Interview, Dr. Anshul Gupta, Managing Director of OPG Mobility, discusses the company's rebranding, expansion plans, dealership growth, and the highly anticipated launch of Defy 22.
OPG Mobility has undergone a major transformation. Could you tell us about the rebranding from Okaya EV to OPG Mobility?
Ans: we revealed our new identity at Auto Expo and Bharat Mobility. Through these events, we transitioned from Okaya to OPG Mobility. Under this brand, we have launched Ferrato for two-wheelers, including scooters and motorcycles, and Auto OPG for three-wheelers. We have introduced our entire product lineup for 2025 and are focused on enhancing brand and product experiences for our consumers.
