What stands out?
• Miami decided to go with three running backs on their roster, which was very interesting. They drafted Gerrid Doaks in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft but ultimately decided to waive Doaks and add him to their practice squad. They also waived Jordan Scarlett and Patrick Laird, giving them their three main guys.
Those three main guys are Myles Gaskin, Malcolm Brown, and Salvon Ahmed. None of them really stand out as an elite running back, so it was interesting to see Miami not go with four guys if one of the three they stuck with does not pan out or get injured.
