Your bra straps keep slipping down, your cups are wrinkling or baggy, your band rides up in the back, you have dents on your shoulders, the under wire in your bra pokes you, you have a back bulge, and your neck and back hurt... Time to ditch your wrong size bra as it can affect your breast health.

Jennifer Kapasi, Head of Operations, Triumph International (India), shows you how to choose the right bra.

Measure Right

A bra is comfortable when there’s no pinching or pain, supports you weightlessly and creates a smooth silhouette. Different bras suit different women depending on their size, shape, age and lifestyle.

There are three variables that you have to take into account when determining your bra size – under bust width, bust circumference and a style that fits to that equation.

Measure your underbust: While wearing a bra, measure all the way around your body, placing the tape right beneath your breasts.

Measure your overbust: Measure completely around the fullest part of your bust without pulling tight. Make sure the measuring tape goes around your entire back.

Note down the measurements in centimeters: And refer to the measurement chart (right) to find out your bra size.
