Alice Oduor was only 24 when she conceptualisedSproutfy, an Edtech App that will change how schools and parents interact. Forever.
Two years ago, Alice created Sproutfy, a mobile application that will allow parents to receive school related information about their children, directly onto their phone and there’s more, Sproutfy will send parents their children’s academic outcomes and any urgent notifications that are sometimes delayed when sent through the diary.
‘I was researching for a topic for my master’s thesis in communication when my interest in education led me to see the challenges faced by school institutions. Manual data keeping and a lack of an effective communication medium between parents and institutions bore the idea to create a tool to solve the problem.
The App will simplify the lives of working parents who sometimes forget important school calendar moments because it will also eliminate the tedious diary that often lies forgotten in school bags.
