An Accidental Model, an Archery Champ, an avid Traveller and now an Actress of Bollywood hailing from Manipur, here’s presenting Linthoingambi Laishram, popularly known as Lin Laishram, in a heart-to-heart talk with YSN:

YSN: Who is Lin Laishram, apart from being a successful model and an actor now in the Bollywood industry?

Lin: She’s a really, really simple girl, down-to-earth; she loves Singju, she’s very very Manipuri at heart and, aaaahh I mean, I am very, very Manipuri for that matter. Like, even if I go to New York, I will try to find Thambou, it’s hilarious actually… I’ve lived in New York… I mean that I am a true Manipuri. I have lived in many places but there’s a very strong Manipuri in me and I think that cannot be removed,.even if I go to moon or Pluto (laughing) or somewhere, so yea… I am traditionally bound.

YSN: Tell me about your childhood, school days, college days?

Lin: I never liked studying (smiles). I was the entertainer of the house. We used to have so much problem with electricity in
