Bruno Bear lived in a forest. If there was one thing that Bruno loved, it was eating! Bruno loved to gobble food all the time!

Bruno Bear lived in a forest. If there was one thing that Bruno loved, it was eating! Bruno loved to gobble food all the time! He was lazy too! He used to eat the mangoes and guavas that had fallen down from trees and also ate the left-over meat discarded by other animals.

‘Bruno, why dont you hunt for your own food? Mia monkey would ask.

‘What a boring thing to do Bruno would say sleepily. ‘I hate to work for my food.

A Riot Of Colours

The stately palm tree, the State tree of Tamil Nadu, is quite familiar to us. It is definitely not colourful; just a tall tree with a head of fan-shaped leaves. It is amazing that from such a drab tree, some of the most colourful and intricately designed utility items are made!

Earthy Expressions

Folk art and tribal art are easily recognizable - bright colours, bold strokes, quaint ways of representing people and animals. Many actually tell a tale! India being a vast country and with so many agricultural communities and tribes living close to nature, many art forms have evolved. Many have all but disappeared. Fortunately, there is an interest in such traditional art forms and efforts are being made to revive some of them. REVINYLIZATION

Blood, Sweat & Tears began as Al Kooper’s dream of a rock band with horns. By the time he realized the concept—on the band’s 1968 debut, Child Is Father to the Man—it had become much more: an engaging hybrid of New York soul, Greenwich Village folk, and innovative jazz arrangements. With producer John Simon at the helm, Child was a virtual definition of the possibilities inherent in the heady musical experimentation of the late 1960s. Kooper’s writing and arranging for that record (including the monumental “I’ll Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know,” later a hit for Donny Hathaway) is one of the high points of his storied career. The record was justifiably praised as the conceptual breakthrough it was, and work had already begun on a follow-up when the band decided it needed a lead singer with more polish. Kooper left the group along with a couple of other key members.
