Karl Kwok Returns To Rolex China Sea Race

TWO-TIME OVERALL and line honours winner Karl Kwok is set to return to the Rolex China Sea Race on his newest edition of Beau Geste – an MOD70 one-design trimaran.
A month ahead of the start in Hong Kong on March 28, MOD Beau Geste joined over 30 race entries from Hong Kong, mainland China, Philippines, Singapore, Australia and USA for the 565nm race to Subic Bay, which has been organised by the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club since 1962.
Among the line-up are Alive, who set a race record of 47hrs 31mins when taking line honours in 2016; the famous classic yacht Dorade, built in 1929 and which completed the last Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race; several China entries including Seawolf, Shanghai 141237, Tong Ran and UBOX; and a father-son double-handed team on AYA.
