HORIZON YACHTS kicked off the new year by launching the blue-hulled FD87 Skyline and V68 ‘pocket superyacht’ at the Horizon City Marina in Kaohsiung in January before both yachts headed to the US.
The FD87 will make its boat show debut at Palm Beach from March 22-25, while the V68 will exhibit at the Newport International Boat Show in California from April 19-22.
The first FD87 develops upon the popular FD85, part of the Fast Displacement series designed by Dutchman Cor D Rover. In place of the raised pilothouse found on the FD85, the owner requested a fully enclosed bridge with a helm station and office space to allow for an extended boating season in colder climates.
