Man who ran city’s JJ drugs line jailed

Co-accused threw heroin and coke from window in sock
THE man who ran the JJ drugs line in Stoke-on-Trent has been jailed.
Police investigated the line run by 22-year-old Joshua Johnson between September 2023 and June 2025.
Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard a sim card was used in 10 devices and Johnson also had a personal phone.
Now Johnson has been sentenced alongside his co-accused Owen Hargreaves.
Prosecutor Ilana Davis said: “Johnson used the drugs line to send out flare messages every month between November 2023 and May 2025.
“Between November 2024 and May 2025 the JJ drugs line and Owen Hargreaves’ number were in communication with each other. A booking was made under the name of Owen Hargreaves and trips were made to his home address in Milton.
“Warrants were executed on June 24, 2025 at the home addresses of both men.
