81-year-old victim suffered traumatic injuries from crash
DANGEROUS driver Sulejman Zekthi - who killed a man after driving at more than 100mph on an A500 slip road - has been jailed for more than 11 years.
The 34-year-old dad took the £105k Audi vehicle without permission from his workplace in Wolverhampton before heading to the Potteries.
He weaved his way through traffic as he undertook and overtook cars on the A500 before exiting the dual carriageway at the Wolstanton junction at 3.30pm on May 4, 2023.
But he failed to slow down in time and was driving at 102mph 130 metres from the collision and 61mph when 45 metres from the collision.
The Audi hit a Nissan, throwing the vehicle on its roof with the driver receiving minor injuries.
He also hit a Vauxhall Grandland in which Deborah Hassall was travelling to Wolstanton Retail Park with her 81-year-old partner Stephen Penman.
