As someone who likes to holiday with their canine companion, I wondered if the welcome would be warm for those with wagging tails. Hotels are a no-no for a rescue hound like Riley, with his slightly unpredictable quirks. But a self-catering stay in the centre of Stow-on-the-Wold, proved to be the perfect pet-friendly base.
