Ritigala, the forest hermitage of yore, located on the Cultural Triangle dating to 2nd c. BC is rich in legend and history.
Bata-atha, Agro Technology and Tourism Park at Hambantota, one of the two Agro Parks established to promote Agro Tourism will interest agriculturists as well as visitors. Crops grown in Sri Lanka including spice and herbal medicinal plants and various methods of cultivation are on display including a delightful Fish Therapy corner where the fish will tickle your feet!
Synopsis of Sri Lanka Railway System is available as a publication “Rail Ride of Great Memories’ (1864-1964) which will fascinate railway enthusiasts. The Green Mountain located in the mist clad high country beckons you for a invigorating hike. Team BOB riders conclude their journey around the island travelling pass Anuradhapura and taking in the Wilpattu National Park interspersed with natural lakes filled with lotuses and water birds.
