Pressure mounts on owner to make the building safe
A CITY road remains closed - two months after an arson attack at a derelict pottery factory.
Part of Westport Road in Burslem was closed to traffic for safety reasons following the fire at the former Wade Ceramics site on April 27.
Miller Homes, which owns the Grade II listed building, says it is still working to find a way of making it safe so the road can be reopened. Local politicians have been calling for the repairs to be carried out as soon as possible, due to the disruption the road closure is causing.
