Bramhall blasts 81 to help steer Eccleshall home after early slump

ECCLESHALL 2nds remain at the top after a four wicket victory over Onneley.

Onneley were put in and were indebted to Jake Short’s 75 and Hamza Talib’s 38 for reaching 193-9 from their 40 overs. Eccleshall limped to 60-5 in reply but 81 from 78 balls by Jonathan Bramall and a steady 68 not out by Dave Ecclestone saw them reach their target at 194-6 with seven balls remaining.
Hanford are in second place after defeating Barlaston 2nds by 58 runs. Hanford were put in and made 263-7 and bowled Barlaston out for 205.
