Ball Haye Green complete mission with Prem title joy

Paul Hughes got the party started by hitting a brace within the first 12 minutes for the hosts, but Wolstanton skipper Matt Rogalski pulled a goal back just after the half-hour with an equaliser arriving courtesy of Sam Wytcherley on 36 minutes.

However, the smiles were back on Green faces before half-time when former Foley Meir player Taylor Mcllreavy restored the lead.

In the 86th minute Dan Allen fired home Green’s fourth to spark wild celebrations.

Lichfield City picked up a 3-1 victory at Leek Town.

Rome Taylor netted for the hosts, but a brace from Flynn McKie, one being from the penalty spot, and a Ethan Goodfellow strike gave Lichfield the points.

Third-placed Brereton Social won 2-0 at Leek CSOB.

Sam Mellor and Conor Phillips were the men on target for the visitors.

Redgate Clayton ran out 3-1 winners over Silverdale Athletic at their Northwood Lane home.

Dave Ashley opened the scoring for Gate on 23 minutes with Dan Holdcroft adding a second six minutes prior to half-time.

In the second half, Jack Barlow pulled a goal back for Allan Davies’ visitors on 54 minutes, but a Thomas Wright strike on 70 minutes restored the two-goal margin.

Madeley White Star and Rocester played out a 1-1 draw.
