Martin Cosser, pictured with Prime Minister Keir Starmer, launched charity Charlie's Promise

THE father of a murdered 17-year-old from Surrey said his son has "saved lives' through his family's campaign to educate young people about knife crime.

Martin Cosser has spoken to 50,000 young people about his family's heartbreaking story, fulfilling a promise he made to his son before he died.

Charlie Cosser, from Milford, was killed weeks before his 18th birthday in the summer of 2023. His family shared a glimpse into their world when his murder featured in an ITV documentary on Tuesday.

The episode of TikTok: Murder Gone Viral detailed the harrowing story of Charlie's death, and the family's tireless campaign against knife crime.

His sister, Eloise, shared her final moments with Charlie, who died in hospital two days after being stabbed at a house party in Sussex.
