County celebrates Pride Month with line-up of events

JUNE is a special time for the LGBTQ community as Pride Month is celebrated.

A number of events will be held across Surrey, from drag bingo to cinema screenings.

With a variety of activities planned across the county there will be something for everyone to get involved in, to meet new people and express themselves.

Below is a list of dates for your diaries this month.

However, the main event this year will be the annual Pride in Surrey, which takes place on September 6. Returning to Stoke Park in Guildford for the second year running, the parade and party is usually full of colour, music and fairground rides.
