LA band 100 Flowers play the JT Soar festival
THE weekend's JT Soar festival in Nottingham showed once again that the city often punches above its weight.
Otherwise how would you explain that those who very successfully run the art space and recording studio in a former fruit and veg warehouse in Sneinton could attract a band from Los Angeles who formed in the early 1980s to play only its second UK date?
Because that is precisely what happened as post-punk three-piece 100 Flowers took to the stage at The Old Cold Store in Queen's Road.
