Land Rover thieves 'ruin Christmas' for farming family

A COUPLE who run a family farm have been left "devastated" after their Land Rover and trailer were stolen just days before Christmas.

Thieves are believed to have staked out Cedar's Farm, near Normanton-On-Soar, before swooping in to take the vehicle and the attached trailer “within minutes" just after 4.30pm on Monday, December 22.
The intruders, who arrived in a BMW, were captured on CCTV speeding out of the yard but are yet to be found.
“Our farm worker left for the day and within a couple of minutes they were there. Within a minute they've driven in and out and my Land Rover and trailer are gone,” said Charlotte Johnson, who runs the farm along with her husband Oliver.
