Margaret Russell, secretary of CHEADLE ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY, updates us and highlights some pets who are looking for a new home...
-
LUCKY to have recently found homes were tabby cat, Abbie, tabby-and-white kitten Mog, and black-and-white cat Susie.
Abbie came to us several weeks ago with a litter of six kittens. She has always been a bit temperamental so we were a bit worried as to who would give her a home, but lo and behold a lovely lady offered her a home as she was used to temperamental cats. Bingo! Abbie now has a wonderful home.
When Mog came to us he was very ill and it was touch and go for several days as to whether he would pull through, but with the exceptional care provided by Lime Trees Vets he recovered really well and has now found his ideal home. Well done Mog.
When Susie came to us she was very thin and didn't even have a name, even though she came from a home. I find that very sad. Well, the good news is that she now has a fabulous home and will be greatly loved.

We do not have premises of our own so have to pay for our cats to be kept at private catteries.
All dogs should be micro-chipped but it is also important to microchip your cat so that if it gets lost it can quickly be returned home.
