A 'CELEBRITY' wedding has taken place in Leek after Aldi's Kevin the Carrot tied the knot with long-term girlfriend Katie in front of specially selected guests.

The latest festive Aldi advert features the wedding which 'took place' in Leek.

As celebrations go, this one was hard to beet.
When Kevin the Carrot finally proposed to Katie, it was clear that the long-overdue nuptials of the Christmas-obsessed vegetables would be a late contender for wedding of the year.
Christmas weddings are something of a rarity; you have to have serious pulling power to persuade your loved ones to change their plans for the holidays. For Kevin and Katie, though, it was nonnegotiable.
