Her dirty dosh is making me panic

A COLLEAGUE is putting pressure on me to look after some money for her.

But I don’t know where this dosh is from. Is it dirty cash? Are we talking the spoils of organised crime? This wily colleague knows I have a couple of old accounts with just a few pounds in them.

She wants me to deposit some cash - that she says is from her parents - so that her scheming soon-to-be-ex-husband can’t get his “thieving mitts on it”.

I don’t have a good feeling about this because I’ve met her new boyfriend who seems as dodgy as nine bob note. I now deeply regret discussing savings during an unguarded moment at work.

Half an hour later my colleague slid up to me and asked if she could have a word. She explained that her divorce was going badly, and her parents had money that they wanted to give her. Could I help out?
