JIMMY THELIN aims to improve Aberdeen's European standing with an immediate return.

They are already eliminated from the Conference League before tomorrow's trip to face Sparta Prague.

But Thelin has seen an improvement in his squad and knows to reach the required levels they need to be playing European football every season.
