PREMIER TWO
KENILWORTH Wardens strengthened their title claims with an emphatic 150-run victory over nearest challengers Dorridge.
Reeling at ten for two, as bowler Ed Thompson found early success with the ball, Wardens rallied and opener Harry Butler and Oliver Dandy put on 174 for the third wicket before the latter was dismissed for 109.
Butler was out for 62, one of four wickets for off-spinner Perry Derrick (4-44), before Harry Johnson hit a rapid 42 off 28 balls to help his side to 274 for seven.
Dorridge never got to grips with the home side's bowling and were all out for 124, with Jack Pidgeon taking 3-15 while there were two wickets apiece for Tommy Rex, Alex Wilkinson and Amun Bal.
Stourbridge's title aspirations were dented as they suffered a six-wicket defeat at home to Old Hill.
