HOEVER ASKS THE FANS FOR THEIR FULL SUPPORT

KI-JANA Hoever has sent a plea to the Molineux faithful ahead of tomorrow's home game against Brentford: "Don't give up on us".

Wolves remain marooned at the bottom of the Premier League with a paltry two points, already 14 points from safety after just 16 games of a miserable season.

But the points tally does not tell the whole story, with Wolves spurning a host of opportunities to gain points throughout the season by giving up leads or conceding late goals, the latest being the agonising 2-1 defeat at Arsenal last Saturday when a second own goal rendered Tolu Arokodare's 90th minute goal meaningless.

Amid fan protests and disgruntlement at owners Fosun, defender Hoever has sent a rallying cry to the fans.

"You never know, it might be start of a comeback," the 23-year-old said. "Don't give up on us, because we haven't given up. We do things day by day, and it's very important for us after a game like Arsenal where we basically had a solid performance, that we keep that standard up and take it with us to every game.
