Donovan: Blues made my dreams come true

ROMELLE Donovan has bid a fond farewell to Blues after completing a permanent transfer to Brentford.
Donovan spent the second half of last season on loan with the Bees' B team and helped them win the Professional Development League cup final.
The 18-year-old's loan has now become a permanent transfer after Brentford exercised a clause in the deal.
Donovan has signed a five-year contract, which includes the option of an additional 12 months, and will join Thomas Frank’s first-team squad ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.
Posting on Instagram, Donovan said: “After many enjoyable years at Birmingham City FC, it’s time to close this chapter of my life. From joining as an under-8 to making my first-team debut, every moment has been a dream come true.
