A BLACK Country butcher is closing his business after 30 years amid spiralling costs.

Osborne’s The Butchers, in Walsall Road, Stone Cross, West Bromwich, will shut tomorrow.

Owner, David Osborne, aged 59, said he has loved serving the community for three decades but feels the time is right to seek a new adventure.

The father-of-three said his final day will be 'emotional', but said: “My lease is up, the cost of everything is just sky high. The price of meat is increasing and I don’t want to do it, but you have to pass on the cost to customers,.

“The hours I work, I can’t do anymore, it’s like 55 hours-plus a week. I have started to close on a Monday in the past 12 months.
