Considered Lord Ganesha's favorite offering (naivedya), this soft, steamed dumpling made of rice flour and filled with a sweet coconut-jaggery mixture is an integral part of the festive menu. While many variations exist, the coconut version remains a popular choice due to its simplicity and rich flavor.

1/2 cup freshly grated coconut
1/2 cup jaggery (grated or powdered)
