Curves can be tricky to work with. But with smart carpentry, this home's rounded layout became its defining charm.

Imagine living in a building designed by the man behind Marina Bay Sands and Jewel Changi Airport. For Amy and her family, that's just a day in the life. In 2022, their hunt for a spacious four-bedder led them to The Edge on Cairnhill, a luxury development designed by Israeli architect Moshe Safdie.
“What attracted us to this home is the glass. 50% of this house is lined with full glass panels. There’s a lot of natural light, which is one thing that I like,” Amy said.
“We didn’t want to change too much of the layout because we found out later that this development was designed by Moshe Safdie, a famous architect, and we believe he has his reasons for planning things out this way.”
Most of Amy’s requests were rooted in function. With two young daughters in the house, the minimalist at heart wanted everything hidden away for a clean, organised feel. She also needed the space to be roomy enough for the kids to run freely, while remaining practical for frequent entertaining.
