Why Children Need Understanding, Not Just Discipline

As a parent coach, I often meet young people whose stories leave a lasting impression on me. Not too long ago, I met a teenager who shared something that still stays with me. He had just returned from a school trip an experience filled with fun, laughter, and memories with friends. But soon after, his world shifted. that still stays with me. He lost someone very close to him, a loss that came right in the middle of his important exams. The pain was overhelming yet he couldn't find the words to share what he was going through. Eventually, he reached out to me. On the surface, he appeared composed, but inside, he was battling restlessness, sleepless nights, and an unspoken fear of the future. He had stepped into his Father's business, but quietly admitted that his heart wasn't in it. He longed to explore a different path, but didn't know how to voice it. This isn't just his journey it reflects what many children silently go through today. They look confident, capable, and ready to take on the world, b
