Moving into their second home, this married couple wanted a complete one-eighty from their previous abode. The result is an inviting, minimalist space with an abundance of sunlight.

While many homeowners think of their first flat as their forever home, tastes and priorities often change over time, leading them to eventually move out and move on. Jeri Tan from Lush Interior Design found herself in this situation with her husband just five years after finishing their original BTO flat. This time around, they wanted something uncluttered and full of light—a completely different design from their previous home’s vintage industrial theme. Aiming for a simple, somewhat Japanese-inspired look with light pops of colour, their top priority was achieving a lively ambience that inspires happiness day after day.
